2 found murdered inside Jessore filling station

Stabbed bodies of two people were recovered from inside a filling station in Charabhita area of Bagharpara upazila of Jessore district on Monday morning, UNB reports.

The deceased were identified as Obaidur Rahman, 40, son of Abdur Rahman Molla, a resident of Dashbhatia village, and staff of the filling station, and Apu Khan, 24, son of Sadar Uddin and an honours student of Jessore MM College.

Sayer Uddin, officer-in-charge of Bagharpara Police Station, said Obaidur and Apu slept inside the filling station owned by one Masud Jaman after closing it at Sunday night.

Later locals found the two lying dead with stab injuries in the morning and informed police who recovered the bodies. Then the bodies were sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

They might have been killed by Sirajul Islam, another staff of the filling station, over previous enmity, added the OC. However, Sirajul Islam went into hiding after the incident.
