3 bombs set off near Bakshibazar court in capital

Three crude bombs were exploded near Bakshibazar special court here on Wednesday morning during the hearing on two petitions filed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia seeking the withdrawal of warrant issued for her arrest in two graft cases,reports agency.
]Witnesses said the two crude bombs went off on the north road of Madrasah Education Board around 12:30 pm, just 100-200 meters off the Bakshibazar special court . Besides, miscreants also blasted another crude bomb near the Fazle Rabbi Hall at the same time.   However, no one was injured in the explosion.

Meanwhile, the trial court on Wednesday adjourned the proceedings till April 5 on Khaleda Zia’s plea seeking to recall the arrest warrant issued against her in the Zia Orphanage and Zia Charitable Trust fund graft cases.

Keeping the petition with the record, Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar of Special Judge’s Court-3 set up on the Bakshibazar Alia Madrasah playground passed the order after hearing arguments from both sides.
