A three-day long art exhibition titled ‘Tomar Chokhe Shilpi SM Sultan’ will end on Saturday at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, agencies report.
Shilpakala Academy and Charuputhi, a creative art school, jointly organised the 4th exhibition of its kind with support from Bellissimo marking the 92nd birth anniversary of artist SM Sultan which was observed on August 10.
An animation cartoon workshop was held on Friday. Shilpakala Academy Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky presided over the workshop while eminent ornithologist Inam Al Haque, locally known as a bird specialist, inaugurated the programme.
Eminent media personality M Hamid, sculptor Hamiduzzaman Khan and Kazi Food Industries Ltd CEO Tanvir Haider Chaudhury were present as special guests.
A total of 200 selected artworks have been put on display at the exhibition. The top 10 participants were awarded at the event.
