7 ‘robbers’ killed in Narsingdi

The incident took place at Bhatpara village around 3am early on Monday, said Narsingdi Police OC Abul Kashem.
Police found the seven bodies on a rice field and another severely wounded person. He was detained and taken to the Narsingdi Zila Hospital.
The villagers were called for help using mosque’s loudspeakers after the miscreants attempted to rob three homes, locals said.
The alleged robbers hurled hand-made bombs while trying to flee from the villagers, but the mob caught up to them.
Those killed are yet to be identified.
