Aamir Khan is back in fighting form, and the proof’s in these pictures that have surfaced from the ‘Dangal film sets. Aamir, who is shooting for the second schedule of the film in Ludhiana, took time off to meet his fans on the sets, Deccan Chronicle reports.
The actor was spotted in wrestling gear that flattered his buff new body. After packing on over 90 kilos for his part of an older Mahavir Singh Phoga, the actor adopted a strict diet and rigorous workout regime that helped him get into shape to play the younger version of his character.
Aamir will be seen in two distinct looks in the film, which he attained ‘naturally’. Reports had stated that the actor felt the need to physically push the boundaries to attain the looks naturally as it would look better on-screen.
‘Dangal’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’, fall under the same ‘sports themed’ flicks that are scheduled to hit theatres this year. Aamir has only been singing praises of Salman and his film saying the trailer looked very good and that it would surely do well at the box office.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Dangal’ has been slated for a December 23 release. The film tells the story of Mahavir Phogat who taught wrestling to his two daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat, who went on to win gold and silver medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
