ADB delegation in DSE visit

Mr. K. A. M. Majedur Rahman, Managing Director of DSE attended a meeting with a three-member representative team of Asian Development Bank who came to visit DSE on October 17, 2016, says a press release.

Post Demutualization Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited is working for future listing plan and for being contracted with strategic investor. Ms. Christine Engstrom, he informed,

Director/Mission Leader, Private Sector Financial Institution (PSFI), Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD), Mr. Asif Cheema, Senior Investment Specialist, PSFI, PSOD and Mr. Bidyut Kumar Saha, Senior Project Officer (Financial Sector), Bangladesh Resident Mission were among the representative team.

Mr. Rahman also says that DSE, for the betterment of investors, has launched ultra modern trading software and as a result transaction fields of various types of products have been possible.

An app namely ‘DSE-Mobile” has been launched and thus investors have been able to trade through their mobile phone from any corner of the world. This mobile trade is gradually becoming very popular. ADB is working as one of the best development partners of Bangladesh capital market through mutual assistance and co-operation.
