British students meet Prof Arefin

A team consisted of two students namely Olivia Bax and Sam Llewellyn-Jones from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London (UCL) of the United Kingdom (UK) today called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor(VC) Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office of the university, BSS reports. Chairperson of the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof Lala Rukh Selim and other faculty members were present on the occasion.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest especially about ongoing exchange programmes, research and academic issues of fine arts between the two academic institutions. Prof Arefin Siddique thanked the British students’ team for their visit and keen interest about academic and research activities of the university. He hoped that through mutual cooperation and collaborations, the existing bi-lateral relationship between the two organisations would be further strengthened in the coming days.
