Chittagong Citizen’s Forum memo on water logging

Chattagram Citizen’s Forum(CCF) called for implementation of the 1995 Masterplan to resolve water-logging problem faced by the Chittagong city over a long period.

The organization made the call in a memorandum to the Prime Minister via Chittagong Divisional Commissioner  Md. Ruhul Amin on Sunday.

Secretary General, Kamaluddin handed over the memo on behalf of the organization.

Demanding special allocation for lasting resolution to water-logging problem, the forum sought direct interference of the Prime Minister in this regard.

It said the Nagorik Forum believes that pragmatic aspects of the 1995 masterplan can be implemented within a limited span of time without waiting for long 13 years.

Prof. Milon Kanti Roy Chowdhury, Prof. Samsad Sattar, Monir Ahmed, Principal Dilip Chowdhury, Ad. Md. Hefaz uddin, Jafar Ahmed, Md. Delwar Hossain, Biplob Dasgupta, Lion Md. Kamruzaman, Akram Hossain, Jashimuddin Khondker, Rahima Akhter Doli, Samir Paul, MR Jashim Sikdar, Abdul Nabi, Abu Syed Russel, Khokan Majumdar Rajiv and Md. Ali were present on the occasion.
