With recent victory over sea boundary, scopes have also been created for fishing in deep sea. For these to realize, new technologies should be invented which students of this faculty must learn.
Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) VC Professor Dr. Gouthom Buddhu Das made this observation while speaking at the inaugural of a workshop as chief guest today.
HECAP funded this project under the control of Bangladesh University Grants Commission.
“ Now culture fish is becoming gradually popular and the country is ranked fourth in this sector. Hence, new fish processing plants need to be built as proper utilization of the resources could help earn more foreign currencies” he said.
Presided over by dean of Fisheries department. prof. Dr. Mohammed, the workshop was addressed among others by CVASU treasurer prof. Dr. Soumen Dewan, ex-VC of Khulna university prof.
