DSE keen to work with PAN Asia Stock Exchange; China biz delegation told

DSE boss justice Siddiqur Rahman at a views exchange with Chinese Business Delegation headed by Liu Guangxi, director, Financial Affairs, Office of Yunan People’s Government, (Deputy Minister Level), People’s Republic Of China at DSE auditorium said, DSE is keen to work with PAN ASIA STOCK EXCHANGE. He also informed them of the signing of Letter Of Intent in 2013 and joint declaration to form PAN ASIA STOCK EXCHANGE in Kuming, 2014.
He urged chairman of International Logistics & Finance Assoc Liu JinXin to launch operational activities of PASEX that will contribute to bilateral relation between Bangladesh and China.
Liu Guangxi expressed hope for speedy implementation of the joint declaration signed earlier to establish PAN ASIA STOCK EXCHANGE. In this regard, cooperation of regulatory agencies of Sri Lanka and Pakistan has been sought, he informed.
DSE Managing Director Swapan Kumar Bala, FCMA said, DSE delegation visited China in 2013 and 2014 to this end following which they held meeting with BB and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). “ The regulatory issues could be addressed soon “ he opined.
Besides discussion was also informed of cooperation from private sector apart from other related matters.
Among others present on the occasion include, DSE director Mrs Monwara Hakim Ali, Ruhul Amin, FCMA, Md. Shakil Rizbi, Md. Shahajahan, Kwaja Golam Rasul and Sharif Anwar Hossain, say a press release.
