KIM Kardashian visited the naked wax figures from her husband Kanye West’s controversial music video Famous – with Kanye joining her on a bizarre, wheeled computer screen, The Sun reports.
The newly blonde beauty looked taken aback with the likeness of the models to their real-life counterparts – including her, her husband, her husband’s ex Amber Rose, Donald Trump and most infamously, Taylor Swift. The video reignited a five year long feud between Kanye and Taylor – who insisted she did not give her permission for her name or likeness to be used in connection with the song.
On the track, Kanye rapped the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. “Why? I made that b**** famous. God damn, I made that bitch famous.” However, Kanye maintained he had asked permission from her as he was writing the song, and to support his claims, Kim posted a video on her Snapchat with him on the phone with Taylor – confirming she had Ok’ed the lyrics in part and had even gone as far as to call it a “compliment”, thanking him for his thoughtful gesture.
She later retracted her acceptance and denied all knowledge of knowing the lyric existed before it’s release. Ex Amber Rose defended the star, and said that she knew following their VMA fallout that he would never have mentioned Taylor in the song without her permission – yet remained angry that her permission hadn’t been sought either.
She said: “Why didn’t I get a phone call for using a naked wax figure in your video Kanye? “I mean, Taylor gets a call but I don’t get a call. “So please, stay the f*** out of the news so I don’t need to talk about your ass anymore.”
During the video, she said: “I don’t think anyone would listen to that and be like that’s a real diss she must be crying. You’ve gotta tell the story the way that it happened to you and the way that you experienced it.
“You honestly didn’t know who I was before that. It doesn’t matter that I sold 7 million of that album before you did that which is what happened, you didn’t know who I was before that. It’s fine.” The music video soon followed on music service Tidal and showed the wax figure of Taylor completely naked in bed next to Kanye and wife Kim.
Due to the lifelike figures, many were left wondering which were real, and which were created. Kanye said that the video was a “comment on fame” and challenged people who featured in the video to “sue him already”. Kim was joined by sister Kendall at the event as well as husband Kanye beaming in via satellite and observing the creations via television screen.
X-Men actress Olivia Munn also made an appearance at the event to voice her support for the star.
