The Education Ministry has served show cause notice on 17 private educational institutions of three education boards for giving fictitious report about SSC and HSC examinations aimed at taking academic recognition, agencies report.
The institutions of secondary and higher secondary level have submitted fake information to the inspection officials during their visits to examine the eligibility of the schools and colleges to be graduated for academic acknowledgement of the government, sources in the ministry today said.
The institutions were asked to explain the reasons of furnishing false information within seven days.
Out of those institutions ten are from Rajshahi Education Board and four each from Dinajpur and Dhaka Education Board, the sources said.
Institutions under Dhaka Board are-SM Model Madhyamik Bidyalaya (Suryamukhi) of Moksudpur upazila in Gopalganj, Satarkul School and College of Badda in Dhaka, Charteki Girls’ School and College of Tarakandi in Kishoregonj and Rajoir Gopalgonj K. J. S Pilot Model Institution and College of Madaripur.
Institutions under Rajshahi Board are – Bagmara Girls High School of Paba Upazila, Dhanora Chakprabhuram High school of Tanore Upazila, Boyen uddin Girls High school of Chatmohor of Pabna, Bilshikari High School of Mohadebpur of Naogaon, Chatora High School of Niyamatpur of Naogaon, Enayeetpur Ideal High School of Manda of Naogoan, Panchgachi Multipurpose High school at Qazipur of Sirajgonj, Saharpukur Girls High school, Dhupchachiya of Bogra, Buri Battala Girls High school of Natore and L.B.C. Ideal Girls’ High school of Sadar Upazila of Chapai Nababgong district.
Schools and colleges of Dinajpur Education Board are – Badinarpara High School of Saghata in Gaibandha district, Chandanswar High school of Fulchhari of Gaibandha district, Dholarhati High School of Sadar Upazila of Thakurgaon and Uttar Naotara High School of Dimla of Nilphamari district.
