Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BJS) has decided to increase the prices of Gold again after a month’s break, Agencies report. BJS made the announcement in a press briefing on Sunday .
According to BJS, price of gold has been increased by Tk 1,400 per bhori (11.664 grams). The new rate will be effective from Monday (December 26).
Earlier on Nov 26, Gold prices went up from Tk 583 to Tk 1400 per bhori.
According to new BJS price chart, the finest refined quality gold (22 carats) will cost Tk 49,338 per bhori (11.664 grams), 21 carats gold per bhori will cost Tk 47,122 and 18 carats gold per bhori Tk 41,872.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged.
