ISIS‘ latest execution video shows a militant reportedly shooting his own brother for spying, Mail Online reports. The footage, filmed in Iraq, shows two hooded militants bringing two blindfolded men out into a courtyard.
The executioner, Abu Abdullah, says a prayer in Arabic as the two condemned men – including Abdullah’s brother – kneel. They are then shot in the head as two other ISIS militants armed with guns watch on.
In total, five prisoners were executed in the space of a day, with three being shot and two beheaded. The terror group has lost several senior members to drone strikes in recent months prompting the major security review.
In March, a senior commander with ISIS was driving through northern Syria on orders to lead militants in the fighting there when a drone blasted his vehicle to oblivion.
It comes as the jihadis have faced a string of military defeats in recent months and are losing ground in their strongholds of Syria and Iraq. And experts say ISIS are using brutal methods of execution to frighten other members in to strictly following rules and commands.
