ISIS savages have released shocking new images of a man having his hand hacked off with a meat cleaver, The Sun reports. The gruesome images were taken in terror capital Raqqa where huge crowds of bloodthirsty locals gathered to watch the event. In the middle of a rundown square, the blindfolded man is pinned into his chair by a pair of ISIS fanatics, while a third brutally chops off his hand.
Hacking off a thief’s hand is a strict interpretation of Sharia law – with the practice also carried out in Saudi Arabia, Iran and some other Islamic nations. The images were released as ISIS’ terror chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was apparently spotted in public for only the second time.
The reclusive terrorist, broadcast on Iraqi TV, appears to show the notorious terrorist talking to children at a mosque in Fallujah. Behind him is a banner announcing the launch of a new Koran memorising competition – with al-Baghdadi himself handing out the top prize.
The images could not be verified however, with some experts questioning whether the images actually show an al-Baghdadi body double.
