The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations-2015 begin across the country on Sunday with the participation of 2,325,933 students, agencies report. Some 1,967,447 students from schools while 358,486 from madrasas will take part in the examinations from 28632 institutions throughout the country in 2627 centers, including eight oversees ones.
Some 2,090,692 examinees took part in the examinations. Out of 1,967,447 JSC examinees, 914,900 are boys and 1,052,547 are girls while out of 358,486 JDC examinees, 167,770 are boys and 190,716 are girls. Earlier, at a press briefing on Thursday, Education Minister Nahid said the government has taken steps to prevent question paper leak in the examinations.
“There’s no chance of question paper leak. We’ve increased surveillance in the BG Press so that no employee can come out from it with any question paper,” he added.
