ACTOR Ben Stiller gets all flash as he takes a snap with the world’s longest selfie stick, The Sun reports. The 50-year-old used the 28ft gadget to photograph a host of stars at the premiere of Zoolander 2. The picture, verified by a Guinness adjudicator, captured celebs and cast members from the sequel to 2001’s cult fashion comedy Zoolander.
They were on a blue carpet in reference to the “Blue Steel” catwalk pose used by Ben’s model character Derek Zoolander. He said: “This was a dream of mine. I wanted to appear on the cover of Vogue and break the world selfie stick record.”
It was the last in a series of promotional stunts after Ben and Owen gatecrashed Paris Fashion Week last March. The picture, a nod to US host Ellen DeGeneres’s famous Oscars selfie from 2014, was taken in Leicester Square on Thursday.
