Zimbabwe’s president, Robert Mugabe had to hold on to his wife, Grace as he attended the funeral of a top judge over the weekend. Mugabe needed assistance getting from his car to where the funeral was held according to New Zimbabwe.

“A jaded looking Mugabe, 91, had to take a few breaks to walk the just over hundred metres from his car to the high table with Grace holding his hand. His aides made a human wall around him as the nonagenarian made his way to the graveside and Grace was there to hold him amid another stop down the probably five stairs,” read an eyewitness account on the news website.

Mugabe’s speech has become slurred and he also relies on official speeches given to him by his handlers, New Zimbabwe further reports. The 92-year old fell while on a state visit to South Africa earlier this year. His bodyguards were fired for not protecting him from the fall.
