Chittagong district administration detained nine Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinees for their alleged involvement in question paper leakage in the port city,BSS reports.
Acting on a tip-off, executive magistrate Syed Murad Ali intercepted a bus which was full with SSC examinees in possession of leaked physics question papers in their cell phones near Jamiatul Falah mosque just an hour before the examination started this morning.
Zillur Rahman Chowdhury, deputy commissioner of Chittagong, told journalists that they got some information over question leakage from the detained students. “We are verifying their information.” However, the examinees were allowed to take the examination on humanitarian ground, he added.
