Online Data Base Could Benefit Teachers & Researchers

Teachers and researchers of Chittagong Veterinary & Animal Science University (CVASU) can now have access to full texts of about 5 lak articles online . Besides there is scope for them to go through over 3 hundred journals related to agriculture.
The facility to access the resource materials is ensured under the deal between CVASU and “ The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library (TEEL), a non-profit online data base programme of Colonel University of America.
Speakers made the observation at the inaugural function of 2-day workshop at CVASU today.
Application and effective uses of TEEAL, AGORA, Mendeley were discussed the workshop.
Dean of Fisheries Faculty Prof. Dr. Mohammed Nurul Absar attended the opening ceremony as chief guest while Prof. Dr. Khandaker Nurul Islam, Dean of Food Science & Technology, TEEL, South Asia co-ordinator Chandrashekar Vithal and senior consultant Nadeem Gaikwad, of India’s Shat Guru Management Consultants , resource persons at the workshop,  were present as special guests.
Librarian of CVASU Md. Habibur Rahaman chaired the function, says a press release.
