Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home this evening concluding her five-day official visit to the Kingdom Saudi Arabia, agencies report.  A Bangladesh Biman flight carrying the Prime Minister and members of her entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7.50 pm.

PM’s Political Advisor HT Imam, Security Advisor Maj Gen (Retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddiqui and Media Advisor Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Joint Secretary of Awami League Dr Dipu Moni and senior officials received the Prime Minister at the airport.

Sheikh Hasina paid the visit at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and it was her visit to Saudi Arabia after the King’s swearing-in in January 2015. She left Dhaka for Jeddah on June 3. She performed the holy “umrah” in Makkah and offered Ziarat at Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid-e Nabvi during her stay in the kingdom.

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, youngest daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Rehana and a business delegation accompanied the Prime Minister.
