President exchanges views with senior journalists

President Abdul Hamid exchanged views with senior journalists and editors of different print and electronic media at Bangabhaban on Monday evening, Agencies report.

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Prime Minister’s Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad, Jatiya Press Club President Shafiqur Rahman and its General Secretary Farida Yasmin, Kaler Kantho Editor Imdadul Haq Milon, Bangladesh Protidin Editor Naem Nizam, bdnews24.com Editor-in-Chief Toufique Imrose Khalidi, UNB Editor Mahfuzur Rahman, acting Jugantor Editor Saiful Alam and journalist union leaders, among others, joined the programme.

President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Molla Jalal and former President of Parliament Journalists’ Association Ashis Saikat spoke on the occasion along with the information minister and the prime minister’s media adviser.

Press Secretary to the President Joynal Abedin conducted the programme followed by a dinner. Information Secretary Md Abdul Malek and secretaries concerned to the Bangabhaban were present.
