SIR Alex Ferguson has got a real-life “noisy neighbour” after Raheem Sterling bought a pad backing on to his, The Sun reports. Man City ace Sterling paid £3.5million for the six-bed mansion right beside the ex-Utd boss.
Fergie, who dubbed City “noisy neighbours” after they began challenging for the title, will be able to chat over the garden fence with the £49million star. Sterling, 21 — who famously inhaled laughing gas, known as hippy crack — moved into the gated property in Wilmslow, Cheshire, with girlfriend Paige Lee Hansel.
It has a 30ft pool, cinema room and a triple garage. A source said: “Raheem didn’t know Sir Alex was a neighbour when he moved in, but he’s very happy there. I hope he keeps the noise down or Fergie might give him the hairdryer treatment.”
Sir Alex, 74, and wife Lady Cathy have lived in their £2.5million five-bed mock Tudor home for 20 years.
