Salman Khan, once again, proved himself as one of the most influential Bollywood stars with his recent blockbuster flick Sultan, ANI reports. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, since the movie’s release, a lot of Hyderabadi youngsters have got inspired to take up wrestling.
Reportedly, akhadas in the city have got hundreds of enquiries and more than half of them have already joined. According to wrestler Shailender Singh, also known as Kalia Pahelwan, who teaches wrestling for free, “A few who had dropped out are also coming back now.”
A 17-year-old boy, Yashwant Singh said, “I want to become like Sultan and win medals for my country. The part where the village cheers for Sultan in the movie inspired me. I would also want people of my area to recognise me for my contribution to the country.
