Three Bangladeshis among nine were killed in a road accident in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia early today. Foreign ministry’ sources confirmed the death of three Bangladeshis to this correspondent. The victims were identified as Wahed Ali, hailing from of Jamalpur, Masud Mia, from Kishorganj and Alam Chand Mia from Tangail.
At least 17 others were injured in the incident, he said. “Three of the dead were Bangladeshis while the others were Indians.” Seven of the injured were also Bangladeshis, Expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment ministry sources said. He said the accident took place in Mazma area around 300km away off Riyadh between 3 to 4:00am Saudi Arabia time today, agencies report.
