Seasonal low that lies over South Bay is extending trough to Northeast Bay, says Bangladesh Meteorological Department in its weather forecast on Saturday, UNB reports. Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining area, it added.
Drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till morning.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. As per outlook for next 72 hrs, night temperature may fall. The maximum temperature of yesterday was recorded 29.5 degree Celsius in Rangpur and Syedpur while minimum temperature of today (Saturday) has been recorded 12.2 degree Celsius in Tetulia.
