A skydiving plane has been forced to make an emergency landing on a highway after running out of power, Sky News reports. The single-engine plane was carrying five people when it was forced into the manoeuvre in Stafford Township, New Jersey. Video of the incident released by police shows the aircraft gliding onto the grass-covered reservation in the middle of the road, narrowly missing passing vehicles.
The instructor on board suffered a cut on his arm, but no other injuries were reported in Sunday morning’s incident. The incident is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration, local media reported.
