Country’s stock market have marked fall for two days in a row in its price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week,UNB reports. DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 12.91 points only to stand at 4592.17 at the close of day’s trading.
Earlier on Sunday, the first trading session of the week, DSEX went down by 31.14 points to stand at 31.141 at the close of day’s trading. Trade deals stood at 97740 with volume of transactions at Tk 3890.03 million.
Of the issues traded, 122 advanced, 161 declined and 38 remained unchanged. DOREENPWR topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 271.74 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were MJLBD, ARGONDENIM, SQURPHARMA, FORTUNE, BDTHAI, SHASHADNIM, TITASGAS, APOLOISPAT and NTLTUBES
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8605.10 by declining over 8.10 points. Out of the issues traded, 111 gained, 108 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
