Tigers face Pakistan for spot in Asia Cup final

Bangladesh will play unpredictable Pakistan in a virtual semifinal of the Asia Cup in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday eying to reach the final, Agencies report.

The Super Four stage game of the six-nation tournament will begin at 5:30pm Bangladesh time and the winner of the game will be India’s opponents in the final on 28 September.

Bangladesh won against Afghanistan riding on Mustafizur’s last-over heroics.

Bangladesh best XI (probable): Liton Kumar Das, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mohammad Mithun, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (captain), Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nazmul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman.

Pakistan best XI (probable): Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Usman Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
