Two more arson victims who suffered burn injuries in separate petrol bomb attacks in Magura and Chandpur districts on March 21 and 18 respectively died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Wednesday. Yadul,40, who was injured in an arson attack on a truck at Moghirdhal on Magura-Jessore road in Sadar upazila of Magura district on March 21, died at the burn unit of the hospital on Wednesday morning Sub-inspector Sentu of the DMCH police camp said Yadul who had received 60 percent burn injures in the incident succumbed to his wounds at about 9:40am.
Earlier, Shakil Mollah, 20, Rowshan Ali Biswas,35, and Matin Biswas, 25, who suffered burn injures in the same incident, died on March 22. Another man who suffered burn injuries in an arson attack on a bus in Chandpur district on March 18 died at the burn unit of DMCH around 1:15 pm. The deceased was identified as Khorshed , 30, son of Sultan Biswas of Darki village in Kolaroa upazila of Satkhira district.
Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a Khulna-bound goods-laden truck coming from Chittagong while it was passing Chandra area in sadar upazila, leaving truck driver Jahangir dead and three other people, including Khorshed, injured on March 18. Earlier, two other victims died at the same hospital, reports UNB
