BSF detains Bangladeshi

Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) detained a Bangladeshi man for intruding into their territory via Lengura frontier in Kalmakanda upazila of the district, Agencies report.

The incident occurred near Kawbari frontier pillar-1171on Saturday evening.

The detainee was– identified as Sangmang Pru, son of Fremant Haccha—a resident of Kawbari area.

According to locals and Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB), Sangmang Pru went to Indian side to fetch a cow of his relatives. At that time, BSF took him away.

BGB’s Langura camp Subedar Abul Kashem told this correspondent: “senior authorities were reported of the incident. Discussion is going on with BSF to bring him back.”
