HP Board declares Class 12 result, 62.01% pass

Of the total strength, 95497 students appeared in regular mode while 17419 took examination through State Open School (SOS).

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE) on Monday declared the result of Class 12 exams . Out of 95,492 students who appeared in exam, 58949 students have passed which is a pass percentage of 62.01%, The Hindustan Times reports.

As many as 112916 students appeared for Class 12 exams, conducted from March 6 to March 29.

The result will be available on board’s official website www.hpbose.org .

Of the total strength, 95497 students appeared in regular mode while 17419 took examination through State Open School (SOS).

Board had set up total 1980 examination centres across the state for regular candidates. Around 10,000 employees were engaged in the examination duties. To curb mass copying all the examination centers were equipped with Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras.

Last year, 98,281 students had appeared in the examinations out of which 68.621 passed, while another 15,785 will have to reappear in one subject. The pass percentage remained 70.18.
