Releasing Indian pilot tomorrow as a gesture of peace: PM Khan

WT24 Desk

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan today said that the Indian pilot will be released tomorrow as a peace gesture, Dawn reports.

Details of PM Imran’s speech are awaited.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi told Pakistani television station Geo TV today that Pakistan would be prepared to return the Indian pilot shot down and captured this week if it helped ease the crisis with its neighbour, reports Reuters.

“We are willing to return the captured Indian pilot if it leads to de-escalation,” he was quoted as saying.
